Ashtiani

Iranian (northwestern) language native to Iran, counting a total of 22,000 (2009 estimate). It is mainly spoken in the Kashan and Esfahan provinces.
Ashtiani has many similarities with Talysh, and even more with Vafsi. It has the same sound system as Persian, and largely share the same vocabulary. Verbs only have two tenses, present and past.
Most Ashtiani also have good conduct of Persian, which is also the language they use for writing and education.
