Gunthamund


(Around 450-496) Vandal king (484-496).
Gunthamund's reign was quite successful, much because of wars being found between potential contenders to the Vandals.
He removed many of the harsh regulations on the Roman Catholics that Huneric had imposed. This helped create stability in the kingdom.

Biography
Around 450: Born as son of Gento, son of Gaiseric.
484: Being the oldest surviving male member of the royal family, Gunthamund succeeds his late uncle, King Huneric, as king.
496: Dies, and is succeeded by his brother, Thrasamund.
