Luwatiya woman

People group of Oman counting about 10,000, in Musqat and its nearby cities especially Mutrah, where they form their own walled quarter, known as Sur Luwatiyah. Strangers are not permitted into the quarter, the only no-go zone in the whole country.
The Luwatiya are usually said to have background as immigrants from India, but being originally from Iran. The Luwatiya are Sunni Muslims.
They have their own language, Luwati, which is classified as an Iranian language. The language is by some reports called Khojki.
