Algerian political and militant groups, where the first performed actions back in 1985, when they started attacking police stations in order to get hold of weapons.
6 police officers were killed by them in August 1985. Their leader Mustapha Bouyali was convicted to death in absetia in October 1985, but was not killed until 1987 in a clash with the police.
A new organization popped up in the 1990s, carrying the same name. The leader of this organization is Abdelkader Chabouti.
