I personally find it important always to visit the inner chambers of the temple, since they were the heart of the entire structure and always closed to all but very few in the society. In general, this part often has feared badly, and the Temple of Mut is no exception. You can make out the plan, but there is little left of statue niches and wall decorations. Once arriving here, though, place yourself in the middle, and look north towards the Temple of Amon. It is all perfectly aligned, as you can see on the photo on this page.
