Sirwa Mountains

This route is described in details in Rough Guide.
You should allow 6 to 7 for this trip of about 250 km. It will bring you to through the Zagmouzine valley, then the Ouamrane valley which ends in gorges, to the top of Jebel Sirwa at 3,305 metres, through the cliff village of Tisgui and passing another gorge before ending the trip.
In more details, head for the first night stop in Akhfame, the second in Ti'n'Iddr, the third just south of Jebel Sirwa where you can sleep in goad shelters.
Below (east) the Gueliz mountain, there is a camp for the fourth night. This is a great position, since it allows you to climb the mountain in early morning and catch the sunrise over the valleys. Spend the fifth night in Tislit, where there is a gorge and rock towers. From Ihoukarn you can hitch with a car to the road between Taliouine and Taznakht.
If you need to, you can hire a local guide in Taliouine and mules, or perhaps just mules. The guides have a good reputation, and can prove excellent company and invaluable interpreters.
