While the inner parts, especially the tribune, is what fascinates most, this is this time the least interesting thing to check out. The reason is that the tribune is usually the part that has survived best in Roman theatres. Walking outside the theatre, permits the curious sights that are rare in other similar structures, a complete structure. It may well not be correctly restored, but lets pretend that it is. The front stands out as a fortress wall, quite boring, honestly. The second thing to take in, is the the perfect oval wall. This comes alive while looking from the hill behind the theatre itself.
In our times, the theatre is at times in use for concerts and festivals.
