

It has 42 Cedar tree columns. Its original layout was one with an open roof to the skies, which in recent years have been closed.
The fascination of the wooden columns, easily confuses most visitors to take a good look at the mihrab (the niche at the end of the mosque indicating the direction of prayer). It is also unique with turqouise, black and white tiles laid out in Selçuk style.
Third thing to take in is the minbar (the free-standing staircase from which prayer is led), which is of first class woodcarving.
