Eflatun Pınarı means "violet spring", and is the location of a Hittite shrine dating back to the 13th century BCE. Its layout is quite different, a large, walled basin dominated by a wall of relief figures in one end. The figures symbolizes winged sun disks carried by semi-human monsters.
