Marmaris is among the best places to go dancing in Turkey. In Bar Street, there are several clubs playing varied music. Most are unroofed, making dacing a fresh and enjoyable event in the middle of summer. DJ's are very good here — I didn't hear Whitney Houston one single time when visiting in May 2009 — most places have go-go boxes and you never know what will rain down on you, confetti or foam.
Unless clubs fill up to the breaking point, there is no entrance fee, so going from place to place is an easy option. Drinks are neither cheap not horribly expensive, but waiters can be quite annoying first trying to make you order something all the time, then asking if you want two of what you ordered. Guess they work on commission...
What places go to? Make up your own mind, your options are all within a hundred metres or so. The clubs open around 21-22.00, but things start moving first after midnight, and goes on until around 4.00 in the morning.
